Why: As full-time firearms and tactics instructors, we have seen classes evolve from a marksmanship course to a more dynamic, tactically driven course based on possible scenarios that could be encountered in theater and in the field. This suited the needs of all students from a real-world vantage; whether servicemen, Law Enforcement professionals, or armed citizensworking for self-defense purposes.
Bow hunting and archery shooting sports are advancing thanks to the quality of online content and competitive events, so why haven’t our training concepts?
We owe it to ourselves as hobbyists to enjoy the sport to its fullest- utilizing the technology offered and putting the equipment through its paces. We have an ethical obligation as hunters to be disciplined in our craft to dispatch our game quickly and efficiently. No one kills game at 20 yards standing in an olympic style position, so stop training like it!
